Favorite Spring Tablescapes

Purple is a beautiful color for a Springtime tablescape.  I'm sharing two purple tables from my archives.

The first came from inspiration right out my kitchen window. My lilac bushes were in full bloom. Their purple blooms are so fragrant but can only come in door at my house for a short time.

My other purple Spring  tablescape isn't as "dressy" but still a favorite of mine.

Thanks for stopping by for a little purple Spring inspiration - Judy.

Easter Cookies and A Tablescape

Wow, these are the cutest Easter cookies I have ever seen!

Who wouldn't want to eat them before the meal is served!

The cookies were made by The Elm Bakery, Cleveland, MO (just outside Kansas City). They make cakes, cookies, health bars, and desserts and deliver in the KC area. Check out their site here

Now on to the tablescape. This one is created by my daughter. You know she works many many hours at the hospital and has two young boys so not much time for tablescaping. But today she has designed one to share with you.

The runner and napkins are from Pottery Barn and the china and flatware are Lenox.                                                                                                                             The rabbit ear napkin rings are from Pier One.

Thanks for  stopping in. Wish I could give you a cookie, but now you know where you can get them - Judy.

Third Time's A Charm - Easter Tablescape

I'm taking two recent tablescapes with very similar looks and creating still a third look with very little effort.

Each table shares the same tablecloth but each has its own style and different elements.

Take a peek:

A few weeks ago, you may have seen my post "My Favorite Colors for a Spring Tablescape. I used my favorite colors of aqua and green with a stack of Bordallo Pinheiro white cabbage dishes as seen here

Then the table became an Easter tablescape in just a hop as seen here. Rabbits, eggs and Easter grass were added to quickly change this Spring table into one for Easter.

I bet you are familiar with the term "the third times a charm." That's what I have done with today's tablescape. I'm using the same tablecloth with a few more changes and have created still another Easter tablescape.

Since you know my love of aqua, you might not be surprised to see an aqua piece added as a centerpiece. Two white rabbits were easily added to make it an Easter theme.

My previous stack of white cabbage leaf dishes was mixed with other pieces of aqua dishes from Portugal. That was an "easy peasy" switch.

Daffodil pattern silverware by Rogers Bros. replaced green handled flatware used previously.

Daffodil flowers always seem to open for Easter.

The daffodils on the silver flatware are in full bloom. They are such a treasure to me.

Two layers of sheer napkins with a blue tinted napkin ring bring a beautiful softness and elegance to the table.

The sheer napkins were recently purchased  in the City Market District of Savannah, GA. The shop is named "All Things Georgia" where everything in the shop is 100% made or grown in Georgia. (More about that fun trip later).

On the bread rack . . .

The table is ready . . .

Have a wonderful Easter with your family and friends.

Thanks for stopping by - Judy.

Easter Inspiration from the Archives

Have you started planning your Easter tablescape? Maybe you have just been thinking about it in your head.

Do you like orange for Easter? If it is just too much color, you could add a little aqua to the table. Take a look at my orange and aqua for Easter. As seen here.

Do you prefer the pastels such as green and pink? As seen here.

Will your Easter dinner have a rabbit flying over the table as seen here.

You might enjoy making some Easter cupcakes for the table as seen here.

Maybe you might like using natural elements for your table as seen here

Do you have some antique China that you love to use at Easter as seen here.

There you have it, I hope you have gained a little Easter inspiration as you plan your tablescape - Judy.
