Our Easter Table

I love bringing out pieces of my Fitz and Floyd collections at Easter. The rabbits always make my heart sing.

The centerpiece was fun to design with white roses, ivy and lilies. The table runner was made by me a few years ago. The fabric was by Moda.

One things about Fitz and Floyd pieces, is the attention to detail on each of every piece they make.

The place settings are Bordallo Pinheiro cabbage plates. I mixed the white, green and pink for each stack. Dainty Easter eggs top each of the double napkins and rings. The flatware for the table is Lenox Eternal Gold and the stemware is Marquis by Waterford Sparkle.

Don't you just love these rabbits! Wish I could leave them out for months!

The crystal napkin rings were a gift from my Mom years ago.

Besides my weakness for dishes, I love to collect ribbon. These two ribbons just say Spring to me with their soft colors.

Thanks for stopping in to see our Easter table!

He is Risen!

From our table to yours, Happy Easter - Judy.

A Seat At Our Easter Table

Happy Easter to each of you! Our table is ready with a seat for each family member.

I just couldn't resist using my Noritake Azalea china for Easter. Yes, it is my favorite china to use for Spring or Easter so here it is.

When I recently shared a tablescape from my archives that featured this china, it rekindled my fondness for it and inspired me to use it again for Easter 2018.

I had hoped our azaleas in the gardens would be blooming but our weather just isn't cooperating.

The table is set for six and I am sure our two grandsons (ages 7 and 10) will be really careful eating on these since they know how special this china is to grandma.

The flatware for the table is Lenox Eternal Gold and the stemware is Marquis by Waterford Sparkle.

I'm going to share a couple pieces of my Noritake Azalea china that I haven't shown before. This sweet condiment tray is one piece you haven't seen.

The tray wasn't part of the original dishes from my grandmother but I found it at an antique shop and just  couldn't resist. The tray holds salt and pepper shakers and a mustard pot with a tiny spoon. I took the spoon out in the pic below so you can see it.

The other pieces I haven't shown before are a footed mayonnaise bowl and another set of salt and pepper shakers.

I do have a couple other pieces that are special to me that I haven't shown. Maybe when my azaleas bloom, I'll create a vignette with them.

Hope you have a lovely Easter with your family and friends - Judy.

Thinking About Easter and One of My Favorite Tablescapes

With Easter right around the corner, I've been thinking about my antique Azalea China by Noritake. It has such a beautiful pattern with its soft hues of pinks, grays, and greens.

I'm bringing this favorite tablescape post "Eggs On Top" from the archives to share with you.

The centerpiece featured an egg wreath and pink pillar candle placed on a cake stand.

My Grandmother bought pieces of the Azalea China from the Larkin Company using premiums from laundry detergent in the 1930s. This china was passed to my Mom then later to me.

The Fitz and Floyd rabbits in the picture below are from the Woodland Spring Collection.

The rabbit teapot and salt and pepper shakers below are Fitz and Floyd Botanical Collection. They are such delicate pieces, I try to be so careful with their ears.

The pink table runner and napkins were made by my friend JoAnn.

My husband bought the Wm. Rogers and Son Gold Plated Enchanted Rose Flatware set at a small shop in Cape Girardeau, MO when we were living in Missouri.

The pink stemware is Fostoria Heritage.

The cake plate sitting in the lower left corner above is such a beautiful piece.

Hope you have enjoyed seeing my Easter tablescape featuring Noritake Azalea China - Judy.

An Easter Table and Easy Centerpiece

These rabbits have hopped right up to the table to become the main attraction in an Easter centerpiece.

The rabbit in the center holds azaleas blooms from our yard.

I love spring flowers and blooming shrubs so when our azaleas bloom, my heart sings a happy song.

Pink and white Bordallo Pinheiro cabbage dinnerware is layered on placemats that I just quilted using Moda fabric.

White chop plates also by Bordallo Pinheiro are used as a base for the pink plates and white bowls.

These Fitz and Floyd rabbits are sitting on a quilted table runner also made from Moda fabric.

I love the 1847 Rogers Daffodil pattern flatware. I try to use it for Easter or other spring tablescapes.

The flatware is such a treasure to me since it was a gift my Dad gave my Mom years ago.

You can see the blooming daffodils on the ends of the flatware pieces.

The pink goblets are Fostoria Heritage.

The centerpiece was super easy. I started with a cereal bowl for a little height then added a plate on top. Next a small berry wreath that I've had for years was placed on the plate.  The rabbit vase was added in the center of the plate and secured with packing tape for stability. Green Easter grass was used to fill in the space around the rabbit. You might be wondering why I just didn't use a cake stand. I did try one but it was a bit higher than I wanted.

There you have it, an Easter table for four with an easy Rabbit centerpiece.

Easter Scape With Rabbits & Eggs

My Easter scape on the kitchen peninsula is ready to share with you.

Orange and green are the feature colors for this Easter scape.

Orange gerbera daisies were added to the centerpiece for a bright pop of color orange. The rabbit salad plates are from Hobby Lobby and the orange dinner plates and bowls are from Dollar Tree.

The stemware is Waterford Crystal - Sparkle.  The carrot cookies were found at Dollar General.

I believe the rabbits were found at Tuesday Morning a few years back.

Easter kitchen towels were a gift from my friend, JoAnn, over at Jo on Legacy Lane
