Spring in the Kitchen Hutch

Spring is a great time to share my kitchen hutch. It is filled with lots of green dishes plus stemware and just in time for St. Patrick's Day.

Bring out the green!

If you like green and you like dishes, you might enjoy my spring kitchen hutch.

The third shelf of the hutch is filled with Bordallo Pinheiro cabbage design plates, bowls and a platter. The green cabbage pattern is such a popular design that is all over blogland right now. I've been collecting them for 10 or more years.

The second shelf holds some newer finds added to my collection this year.

A couple of months ago, I was antiquing in the Branson, MO, area and found this darling tray, teapot and creamer. These three pieces have the rabbit and carrot design.

Since no sugar bowl came with these three pieces another hunt was on. I found a dragonfly design sugar bowl and lid on eBay.

The top shelf of the kitchen hutch holds stemware Lady Ann Gold by Gotham plus inexpensive green stemware. A ceramic pineapple stands in the middle.

Inside the door on the left side of the kitchen hutch, you will see more stemware, some Irish pieces, and a ceramic teapot made by my Mom in 1975.

Inside the right door of the hutch are more of the Lady Ann Gold stemware by Gotham on the top shelf, a checked shamrock and an Irish lad and lass.

The middle shelf holds pineapple design Bordallo plate and a rabbit and carrot design small Bordallo pitcher.

The bottom shelf is filled with white Bordallo dishes and a couple of St. Patrick's Day gnomes.

There you have it for my first addition of my Kitchen Hutch. Let me know what you think! - Judy

  8. Hi, Judy! Sorry I've been MIA. Family stuff.😟 Anyhooooo...great eBay find on the sugar bowl!!! It works out really great with that dragonfly on it! I LOVE green!!! I'm another one of those folks with copious amounts of Bordallo green cabbage dishes. They work 3 seasons of the year, so who can resist? I hope you had a good time in Branson! I've never been...STILL!!! I think everyone in my family BUT me has been there! My son just went a few months ago with his family. I'm just a homebody weirdo!

    Happy Spring!!!
