We are hosting a patriotic dinner party on our deck.
Won't you come join us!
Dining on the deck is the game plan. The table is set for our guests with a patriotic theme of red, white and blue.
Using flags in the centerpiece is a great way to show patriotism.
Just pop in a couple of American flags and a patriotic centerpiece is done.
The stack of plates is a mix of more red, white and blue. The stack is layered with a navy-blue placemat, a white charger by Bordallo, a blue and white plate calico plate is by Royal Wessex, a red salad plate by Fiesta, and topped with a small white bowl by Bordallo.
Showing our patriotism is very important to us and designing this table brings patriotism right to our very own deck.
I think you can guess where the blue stemware is from. I think everyone in blogland has a set of these.
Pots filled with red, white, and blue flowers add to the theme.
You can see our shade garden out from the deck.
Stuffed tomatoes would be great for a ladies' luncheon. Cucumbers could be used instead of crackers if you are trying to keep it low carb. I do think I will replate the stuffed tomatoes and use a bed of lettuce then the tomato and chicken salad.
A perfect patriotic garden flag for the 4th of July.
One of the desserts we are having is individual mixed berry tarts made with fresh fruit. Whipped topping is ready to add. I found the dessert on Pinterest here.
Just in case of extreme heat or very needed rain, I do have a backup plan in place. The party can be moved inside to our dining room.
Hope you have enjoyed our patriotic table.
I would love to hear about your patriotic table or party - Judy.
