The Pond Across the Road

What a beautiful view across the road I have. If you enjoy looking at water and don't live on the ocean or a lake, a pond will do. 

Water is very calming to me. I see the pond from every window across the front of my house. 

The pond was drained and dredged last fall. With the abundance of rain this spring it is close to full. My neighbor built a fishing dock which you can see in the next two images. Fish will be added in the future.

The irises are blooming at the water's edge right now.

Life is Special. . . and A Spring Tablescape

Do we sometimes forget how special life is? How special our friends and family are. We know everyday is a gift from God but sometimes we forget to notice how special life is. 

We are usually pretty busy in our everyday lives and don't often notice the beauty around us. It might be an iris in your yard.

Or a clematis bloom on a trellis that reminds us how special life is. 

Spending time with friends is always special too. Today I am sharing a tablescape for special friends.

This table could be for friends that I see everyday

or friends that I don't see often but are so very special.

It's their friendship that makes it special. 

The table is cheery and bright with an April Cornell tablecloth. She always designs beautiful patterns and borders.
