Late Summer Table and A Black-Eyed Susan Centerpiece

I enjoy working in my yard and planting new gardens. Today's table features a Black-Eyed Susan plant that will be finding a home in one of my flower beds.

Dark yellow check napkins were used on the table. . .

along with dark yellow plates and amber stemware to accent the centerpiece.

The Black-eyed Susan plant is seen in many gardens because it provides great color throughout the summer.

Plus they are very heat tolerant and require little care. You can see their leaves are velvety. 

Many live ferns are found in my gardens hence faux ferns were added to the table. 

A friend game me hardy ferns to add to my gardens in the spring and they have grown into beautiful plants.

Gerber Daisies and A Colorful Table

Gerber daisies and a green pierced ginger jar are perfect for a centerpiece. Both bring color and interest to my table.

A colorful casual late summer table evolved with orange dinner plates, patterned green salad plates, and orange bowls.

Orange and green napkins layered together with a beaded napkin ring bring more color to the table. 

Lightly tinted blue glasses with a light green stem were selected to mimic the blue and green in the tablecloth and the napkin rings. 

Now it's time to bring it all together. This summer table could be created indoors or outdoors. It's designed to bring friends and family together for summer fun. We love sitting on the deck and enjoying conversations and funny stories.

You know I always try to add elements to my breadrack that reflect the colors used in my table.

It's time to sit down with friends and family and let the laughter begin.
