Christmas Table With Santa and Friends

My Christmas table is ready a little early because we are having a family dinner on Friday. Santa and the cardinals are stealing the show.

I love getting out pieces of my Christmas Fitz and Floyd collections to use on the table and throughout my house.

The Santa used in the table centerpiece is from the F&F Holiday Santa collection. Santa is surrounded by his animal friends and has a knapsack of toys thrown over his shoulder.

The table is set with a Lenox tablecloth then gold glass chargers were used with the gold rimmed plates and Lenox Winter Greetings salad plates.

The flatware is by Rogers and the cloth napkins and napkin rings are Lenox.

Christmas in JoAnn's Living Room

My friend JoAnn has her living room decked for Christmas and has been kind enough to let me share it with you.

Her theme for this room is cardinals. You will see them on the mantel, in the tree, and on the couches.

Her flocked tree features Cardinal ornaments and red ornaments with white lights.

Her mantel has cardinals resting on silver candleholders, pine cones, berries, red ribbon plus cardinal ornaments hanging from the mantel.

I'm sure you have noticed that JoAnn has such an eye for design and details.

She was an art teacher for years before she retired. So she knows color and just how to use it.

Her sofa pillows go perfect with her cardinal theme.

In The Kitchen Window

My kitchen window is decorated for Christmas with a vignette featuring my Renaissance pieces from Fitz and Floyd. I used the platter, pitcher, plate, porcelain Santa, sugar and creamer, and the oval lidded box.

The colors of the grouping seem burgundy to me. The fruit on each of the pieces is beautifully colored with purple in the grapes and plums, deep red apples, and yellow pears. The leaves are green with highlights of gold on the veins and edges of the leaves.

The Santa is Fitz and Floyd Vintage Santa.

Holiday Dining for Four

My table has been set for a holiday dinning party for four. It is always so exciting to dine with family or friends during the holiday season. Making the occasion just perfect with a beautiful tablescape is always fun and challenging. I have used my silver candle sticks along with some Fitz and Floyd salad plates that I have had for several years.

I have had these salad plates for a few years and usually display them in my China hutch but this year, they made their way to the table.

The individual salt and pepper shakers were purchased from an Oneida store but say made in Taiwan on the bottom.

The tablecloth and napkins are by Lenox.

The ornaments are frosted pink. I have had them for a number of years, back in the day when I had a Victorian tree. Now I just use the pink ornaments for a special theme.

The silver plated candle sticks came from my daughter's wedding 10 years ago. A little polish did the trick to get them ready to use.

The salad plates are Fitz and Floyd Classic Choices Winter Holiday Santa Portrait.

Christmas Dining

I have been helping my daughter set her dining room table for Christmas. She has been using a silver and chartreuse theme in her living room and now wanted to carry it into her dining room.

There are three silver glittered deer on the table. A large one in the center and two smaller ones on each side. The chartreuse accents are the ornaments scattered on the table and in the vase.

We have used several different candle sticks and candles on the table.

She wanted to use the burlap runner for this holiday table that she used at Thanksgiving, we through the woven chargers would still be safe. The china and napkins are Lenox Holiday Nouveau.
