Homer, Alaska - Beach

When we visited Homer, Alaska, the rocky beach and the blue water were just beautiful. Then there were the blue mountains in the background that were just breathtaking. We enjoyed walking along the beach when the tide was out.

The water was too cold to swim but throwing rocks was fun for my grandson.

Trout Fishing in Missouri

My husband and I like to trout fish and this was a trip not too far from our home. The outing was to Bennett Spring State Park and it was a chilly foggy morning. I really wasn't wanting to wade in the water that morning so I mostly took pictures of him fishing. The fog on the water made a perfect sitting and these turned out to be my favorite fishing pictures. We have fished all over the United States but I love these Missouri pictures.

The block building in the picture didn't seem to be used for anything currently but sure added to the scenery.

Subtle Blue Halloween House

I thought you might enjoy seeing a Halloween house that wasn't too scrary, instead, it is a subtle shade of light blue. The house is full of ghosts and has a Halloween tree standing beside it.

The tree is decorated with grosts, goblins, bats, owls, a witch and cat.

The house and tree are by Lenox. Thanks for stopping by to visit the soft blue Halloween house.- Judy

Beautiful Blue Monday

Look at this beautiful blue sky! What a morning to make you feel great and get the day going in a positive way; see what the day has to offer. The morning sun rays are magnificant as they shine through those morning clouds. You are now ready to brighten up your day, and put a smile on your face. My husband always says "it a new adventure."

Glacier National Park

We visited Glacier National Park in Montana, "the blues" were all around us. The sky was a magnificant color of blue. We filled our days with sight-seeing, hiking, boating and everyday we loved the wonders of nature.

The water of the lakes in Glacier was also beautiful blues.

Many Glacier Hotel was under construction while we were there but was such a awesome site with the blue skies and blue water.

Hope you have enjoyed my "blues" this Monday.

Mount McKinley

My family just returned from Alaska where we have a rare opportunity to see Mt. McKinley on a clear day. Oh my, it was just fabulous; you don't realize the vastness of the mountain until you see it in person.

Most days the mountain is covered with clouds and the viewing isn't always very good and that's the way it was on the day we went on the shuttle to try to get a close look at the mountain. Then on our return trip on the train from Denali National Park, it was a clear day and very little cloud cover. It was awesome, turn after turn on the train we had fabulous views of Mt. McKinley and it were, indeed, in awe of Mt. McKinley.
