Spring Greetings Friends in Blogland
Today I'm sharing purple blooms on the table and in the yard. This post is all about purple. Hope you enjoy it.
All things purple indicate the welcome of spring.
Sweet purple teapots are ready for serving tea.
Eye-catching purple lobelia and purple verbena are used for this spring table. Soon they will be planted in my gardens.
Purple lilacs are blooming now.
Do you like the aroma of the lilacs. I like the smell of them while I am outside but cannot bring them indoors.
I think it's going to take me a few more days to get these flowers planted, here's the look from our deck. Rain and lots of puddles. It's a swamp out there!
Between rain showers, I did take pics of purple blooms in the front and back yard. You can see the iris blooms are drooping.
My friend has a purple bottle tree in her yard.
The Iris in my front beds are blooming too. Thank goodness I took these pics before the rain.
I wasn't always a big purple fan but when I moved to Kentucky and saw the stunning colors of purple, my heart softened and now I just love purple.
Thanks for stopping by for a whole lot of purple - Judy.

I'm leaving my white rabbits and purple flower arrangement on the hearth for a while longer.

Oooooh, I love purple, in all its shades. So pretty! My spring garden is mostly pinks, whites and yellows -- until the irises bloom in glorious purples.
ReplyDeletelvoely! Your spring are ahead of ours. So, mine are still to come!
ReplyDeleteMy Iris aren't blooming just yet. LOVE the bottle tree. I have a couple of them on our farmette.
ReplyDeleteLove all the purple Judy! What a joy to see all these flowers in bloom. We’re such a long way off from seeing any perennials or shrubs blooming. Those are such pretty dishes too!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! Wonderful!
ReplyDeleteIt is raining here today in north Mississippi, too - over an inch last night and still coming down this morning.
Stunning!!! Purple and yellow are my favorite spring colors. Your decorations inside are beautiful...the flowers outside are as well!
ReplyDeleteWow!! Such a pretty table!!! This spring has been really rough. Our greenhouses don't even have their flowers in yet - just pansies. I can't wait til we can catch up to all the ladies in the south who already have stuff blooming and looking beautiful. I hope your able to get out in your garden soon!!
ReplyDeletePretty in purple! Soooo pretty and I am crazy about those plates!!

Judy, I really enjoyed seeing all your touches of purple indoors and out! Those purple floral plates are fantastic! Such pretty blooms as well! Going to be a while before we can start planting seeing as we still have some snow in our yard - longest winter ever!
ReplyDeletewOW!!Stunning post!Love your purples!
ReplyDeleteIris AND lilacs blooming already??!?!!?!?!? Wow...I’m guessing you don’t miss the Midwest at all!!! So pretty! I love the fragrance of lilacs and wish we had a couple of bushes. I’d have NONE left out on the bush, I’m sure! They just have everything going for them: color, fragrance, texture...so wonderful! As for irises, I’ve planted some given by a neighbor last year and hope they survive me!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteJudy, purple has always been my favorite color and this post is absolutely gorgeous! The lobelia and iris are so pretty!
