A Visit from Cardinals

I have been so thankful that so many cardinals have been visiting my feeders. The male Northern Cardinal is a beautiful shade of red.

The female is pale brown but has a reddish crest and warm red accents. She has a bright red bill.

Both the male and female have a black face.

You just can't take your eyes off of the cardinals.

  9. Wow - you are the lucky one. Wish we had Cardinals out here on the west coast. We were lucky enough to see some when we visited our son and his family in West Virginia a few years ago.
