It's time to show your August blooms!
My Limelight Hydrangeas are just gorgeous and are showing some pink in their blooms.
Our Limelight Hydrangea is about six feet tall and is in a flowerbed close to the road at the front of our property.
Our Crepe Myrtles are blooming in the yard too.
We have had tons of rain lately, so their limbs have been drooping. They should perk back up in a day or two.
Crepe Myrtles do very well in our area, so we have them in your front yard and back yard. We like them so much that we have 12 of them. We planted a few a year over the past 6-7 years.
Other blooms in the flower beds below are Cleome, Dahlia, Black-Eyed Susan, and Vinca.
Color on the porch: Caladiums and a Begonia bloom.
Thanks for stopping by to see my August blooms - Judy.

Your garden is so beautiful. I'm in love with the Limelight Hydrangea.
ReplyDeleteMe too, Carol. I did plant a Incrediball Hydrangea this year. I'm excited to see how it does.
DeleteWhat great photos.
ReplyDeleteI really like the Limelight hydrangea, but I also really like the Caladiums.
Greetings Irma
Beautiful!
ReplyDeleteLove the variety of Caladium leaf colors and patterns!
Happy Garden Bloggers Bloom Day!
Very pretty. Thank you for all the linking links. I'm checking some out for my "off" days!
ReplyDeleteEverything bloomed beautifully for you this August. I have a crepe myrtle but it didn't bloom as good as yours. Looks like you have the green thumb! Enjoy the rest of your summer!
ReplyDeleteI've been feeling extreme Hydrangea envy of late. If only they weren't so thirsty! I love the crape myrtles too.
ReplyDeleteFinally, I wrestled Google into submission (I've been trying and trying to comment). Crepe myrtle aren't hardy where I live and I love them so so I enjoyed every one of yours. I've never grown caladium but I've admired them - so colorful. I enjoyed yours, too. Alana ramblinwitham.blogspot.com
ReplyDeleteOh those Limelight Hydrangea and Crape Myrtle are a delight for the eyes! Happy Bloom Day!
ReplyDeleteWOW, you have done a huge lot of work and it shows in this beautiful and outstanding garden. We do not have a garden like you! The little left (read no watering permitted) is suffering tremendously.
