I have been so thankful that so many cardinals have been visiting my feeders. The male Northern Cardinal is a beautiful shade of red.
The female is pale brown but has a reddish crest and warm red accents. She has a bright red bill.
You just can't take your eyes off of the cardinals.
Thanks for stopping by - Judy.

Aren't they a treat to see- especially with the snow in the background! I didn't realize you had this 2nd blog. I've signed up to follow.
ReplyDeleteWe get them here like this too. I love seeing these gorgeous birds, the red color so pretty in winter. Your pics are so pretty with the snow in the background! I also love the jay birds with their beautiful blue, and the little bluebirds. Nature is awesome...........

How wonderful!
ReplyDeleteCardinal, eh? Near Louisville?
ReplyDeleteWow - you are the lucky one. Wish we had Cardinals out here on the west coast. We were lucky enough to see some when we visited our son and his family in West Virginia a few years ago.
