I enjoy photographing old barns around the area where we live in Western Kentucky. This one is an old red barn that I saw on a drive in the country several months ago. It hasn't been shared until today. Take a look:
I'm sure this old barn has a story. Wouldn't you love to know it!
Thanks for stopping by - Judy.

That's quite a tall looking barn. Wonder what it is used for.

ReplyDeletethat was a different one. At first I thought the roof was broken but it seems to be built that way.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing.
Maybe a corncrib? Hard to say here in KY!! Could be used for many things. I Love it!!
ReplyDeleteThat's a beauty. I like how it's wearing.

You are talkin' my language, lady!!! I LOVE old barns!!! For years I have taken countryside drives just to look at old barns and to take in the beauty of the nature around them. Living here in Missouri and right on the Kansas state line has afforded me that luxury, and I absolutely cherish it!!! There is so much to be said for old barns in how enchanting they can be. They all tell a story. This one's a beaut!!!
ReplyDeleteJudy, I love red barns! Great photos!
ReplyDeleteJudy, I love taking photos of barns, also. When we travel, I always look for barns, even along the expressways and take photos of them if they're unique or very old. Thank you for linking this up at Share Your Style!
ReplyDeleteGreat looking barn. Red is such a perfect color for barns.

So picturesque, and so poignant -- yes, old barns and abandoned houses always make me wish to know 'the rest of the story'.
