I have shared many posts from my daughter and SIL's house in Kansas City and since I am at their house recuperating from a complete knee replacement, I'm featuring their house for a Christmas Home Tour.
This beautiful silver ball at the entry came from Nell Hill's in Kansas City.
The living room furniture gets rearranged for the holidays to make room for her 9 foot tree. Her white couch from Nell Hill's gets moved from in front of the white shutters to the right side of the room.
The pillow on the couch is from Pottery Barn. I love the berry wreath.
Back at the entry you can look to the right and see the dining room.
The chartreuse and silver theme is carried to the dining room.
The table is decorated with:
several new Mercury Glass Balls on candlesticks
silver glittered deer,
chartreuse ornaments,
and two small chartreuse trees,
The four Mercury Glass balls are also from Nell Hills.
Her china buffet is filled with her Lenox China and Lenox Christmas china.
Let's take a peek into their bedroom where they have a 7 foot tree. We try to use 100 feet of lighting per tree. Their bedding is mostly from Restoration Hardware.
The dresser holds a hammered metal lamp with a few more carolers and the large white jar. I love the reflection in the mirror.
For the last couple of shots of the main floor, you can see the hearth room.

On the baby grand piano sits a couple of Byer's Choice Carolers.
The sideboard on the right side of the room holds another display of Byer's Choice Carolers.
"Ernie" their Elf on the Shelf is making an appearance on a silver glittered reindeer.

The plates are by Peggy Karr Glass, the front one is four stockings and the other three are plates of the Kansas City Plaza at Christmas.
Thanks for stopping in for a Christmas Home Tour - Part 1. I'm working on Part 2 where I will feature the second floor of their home - Judy.

Beautiful home tour and I am loving the bedroom! I have to admit I am thinking of putting a tree in my bedroom, and now I think you may have inspired me to just do it...
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for sharing it!
My goodness, it looks like no detail has been overlooked in your daughter's home. It is beautifully decorated and a joy to take in. Hope you are coming along nicely with your rehab.
ReplyDeleteSuch beautiful visions of Christmas! With appreciation for sharing your daughter's home. -Brenda-
ReplyDeleteP.S: If possible, would love to know the source of purchase for the gigantic planter ornament.
I love your entrance, that pot with the greens and the ornament is my favorite!
ReplyDeleteOh wow, their home is stunning and I adore that gorgeous window with the fabulous tree in front. Stunning. Hope you are better soon. Thanks tons for linking to Inspire Me. Hugs, Marty
