At the Feeders and In The Trees #52

It was nice to see a Brown Thrasher at my feeders. It was the first citing of him this year for me.




You just can't help noticing this guy's distinguishing markings: the yellow eye, long legs, long tail, long slightly curved bill and the dark streaks on his under parts.  



Other visitors at the feeders included: Carolina Chickadee, White Breasted Nuthatch, Downey Woodpecker, House Finch, and Northern Cardinal.

  4. Wonderful backyard birds you have there! The brown thrasher has the most unique eye... I remember that from the once (only) that we've seen it "in person")...
