Birds and Pine Cones for a Wintery Tablescape

We have had a couple of nice days lately, but now we are back to cold and rainy days. My table today features birds and pine cones. I hope you are feeding the birds in your area.

For my tablescape, I am using . . .

The salad plates are Snowy Bird from Pottery Barn. My husband gave me the plates, chargers, napkins and runner for a gift while I was recovering from a surgery. He thought he should give me something I love - dishes!

The double layer of linen and the Snowy Bird napkins and napkin rings are also Pottery Barn.

Place cards for the table stamped with Tim Holtz stamps.

The tablescape is casual with pine cones, pine branches

and birds.

Adding a glass pedestal hurricane

and crystal candlesticks along the center adds a bit of elegance.

Lenox crystal and flatware also dress it up.

Thanks for stopping by to see my table with birds and pine cones - Judy

  1. Guess I wasn't the only one thinking pine cones...great table, Judy. Love the birds and pine cone plates...perfect for a blustery winter day! Your husband has great taste in dishes.
This cold weather is getting to me...I am hoping January and February fly by, then we can almost see spring arriving.
    Have a great week.

  2. Nothing like some dishes to help you recuperate from surgery - hope you are doing well. How wonderful your hubby gave you the terrific elements for this t'scape! You did a marvelous job accenting them with the pinecones and birds. I also like seeing the greenery on your table - I never know if it should be put away with Christmas décor but really, it is just "nature". We just got a huge dump of snow - seems winter has a long way to go yet!

  8. Judy,
Elegantly rustic pinecone and birds tablescape, dear friend!!!
Love all the sparkling crystal!!! Reminds me of icicles.
Adorable little birds throughout your tablescape are the gentle reminder to care for them in our frigid weather on the Prairie. Our feeders are having frequent guests, too!
Love the pine boughs of greenery and the natural linen.
I adore your handmade place cards!!!
Your husband has good taste in dishes, dear friend. . .he's a keeper!!!
    Fondly,
    Pat
