Aqua Sparkle Tablescape

I have been planning this aqua sparkle tablescape to share with you but it took me longer than expected to get it ready. I haven't been home for three weeks, so my table got put on hold until I returned.

So it has taken me until Sunday evening to get this post ready.

I am using my favorite aqua color in my kitchen for Christmas. You may have seen my aqua mantle here.

I have used these aqua dishes many time but for Christmas, I'm adding lots of sparkle to the table.

I found the aqua stems and ornaments to use in my centerpiece at Michael's this year.

The 11 inch plate is by Peggy Karr Glass.

The aqua trees in my centerpiece are from Hobby Lobby.

Matthew 19:14 Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these."

Merry Christmas - Judy.

  24. Hi Judy, I was in a meeting all Friday morning, then came out to the news, and my weekend fell apart immediately. I couldn't really function at all. My table was set but it seemed so unimportant. But I'm so glad you shared this GORGEOUS setting with us! The aqua color is so beautiful and the sparkly touches make it feel like a winter wonderland. Merry Christmas! Linda

  26. Oh this is beautiful! I'm glad you were able to pull it together. I know the Sandy Hook tragedy has affected all of us. It gives you pause and a need to reflect. Sometimes the things we do seem so trivial, but we must go on and live our lives. I absolutely love the centerpiece. The trees rise out of it majestically and the beautiful accent around them sparkles wonderfully! I love how you dressed out the dinnerware with the napkins and ornaments. You are ready for the holiday!
    Merry Christmas!

  28. What a stunning table, the colors are wonderful!
Yes, what a tragedy. After our family party Sat., all the families went to Mass to pray for those grieving. God help them.
Thanks for linking to Let's Dish, and have a very Merry Christmas!

  29. Isn't it just PERFECT when you can uses dishes you already have and turn them into something extra special and different for Christmas??? I love that! This is a really good tutorial for those tablescapers just starting out to know you can use the same dishes in many different ways! I haven't bought any new for a long time. I tend to use the same ones over and over again anyway! Your centerpiece is rockin', and I love the way you used the ornaments and sprays on the napkins. Very snazzy!!! I know what you mean about time just kind of standing still after last Friday's tragic and senseless action in Connecticut. I was glued to the TV ALL day long, waiting and watching and wondering along with the rest of the country. I think this will go down as another one of those days when you can recount exactly where you were when you first heard the news. Sad, but true. I'm sitting here listening to Barry Manilow singing Christmas songs and hoping for a calmer, more peaceful, more agreeable nation. I know I'm just gonna get coal in my stocking, but I sure would love to have the gift of peace under the tree. Have a blessed and merry Christmas, Judy!
