Treats for the Galentine Bunco Party

I left you in my last post (here) waiting for the Bunco girls to arrive for our "Galentine" Bunco party.

The table was set for this special night.

Light food was prepared and ready for the party with a chipped beef cheese ball to mimic one of the die used in this Bunco dice game. We always enjoy veggies, dip and popcorn before the first game is played.

We eat, chat, laugh then soon are ready for the Game 1 to begin.

We take a break for more " light snacks" and dessert before Game 2.  Red velvet cupcakes decorated with pink icing and two small dice (made from sugar cubes and black glitter gel for the dots) plus chocolate brownies and chocolate ice cream were also perfect desserts for the evening.

Love this little Delivery Mailman by Lori Mitchell. He looks so cute under a bell jar.

It was a great night of fun and laughter for our "Galentine" Bunco Party. - Judy.

Valentine Bunco Party

This is a great week to have a Bunco Party at my house. It's so fun to decorate for Valentine's Day plus have a party with gal friends.

The cute centerpiece started with a red vase then filled with a red truck pick, red roses, black and white buffalo check hearts, a little ivy then a bow tied from truck/hearts ribbon.

I carried my black and white buffalo plaid theme from Christmas into January and now using it with my Valentine's Day decor.

My wooden cathedral wall arches have a new look with hearts, ivy, and red and white pip berry stems. Ribbons and tails were added to the arrangement.

The black and white buffalo check hearts were cut from scrapbook paper and glued to a heavier heart.

For a little more fun, dangling red hearts were hung from the chandelier over the table.

A huge red heart dish stands on a small side table beneath the wooden cathedral arches.

The heart dish was a gift from a sweet friend a few years back.

Now, I'm just waiting for the bunco gals to arrive and the fun to begin - Judy!

Cardinals and the Snow

I just love when it snows and I can take pictures of the Cardinals.

They are just so stunning against the white snow!

I was up by six this morning just waiting for enough light to start taking pics.

What an enjoyable morning to capture these gorgeous red birds. So rewarding - Judy.
