Tybee Island is just beautiful. If you like relaying by the water, gazing off into the horizon, or walking on the sand, Tybee can be perfect.
Tybee Island, also known as Savannah's Beach, is just 18 miles from Savannah. So it's an easy hop, skip and a jump right into the water. 
There are three miles of uninterrupted public beach to enjoy.
After a day at the beach, let's sit down to a beach themed table decked out in blues.
Personal notes can be written to each person on the back of the seahorse card in each plate or the sand dollar card tucked in the napkin. The cards are all stamped with Tim Holtz stamps.
The breadrack is just a little beachy too.
Wow, a day at the beach can be so tiring, take care and good night!

Oh, Judy! I love, love, love this! It's peaceful with all the blue & white, and you've added so many really cool touches that make it special. The little seahorse and starfish cards are really neat! I found some at TJ Maxx a couple of weeks ago, but they're not nearly as cool as these!!!

I don't know if you ever saw the movie "Midnight in the Garden of Good & Evil", but the attorney in the movie references Tybee Island. It was for that reason I wanted to visit when we were in Savannah. Ramon & I were standing on the shores of the ocean at Tybee Island on the night of that horrific tsunami some years ago. We had no idea what devastation was going on half a world away. It was dark, cold, rainy and the waves were crashing like train wrecks against the rocks, but Ramon was determined I was going to see the Atlantic. We could've been killed!!!! Men!

Such a subtle beauty in the blue and white. The plates, the bottles, napkins and rings are all cool. I love it all, especially the trip to Tybee public beach.

Judy, I am loving all of the blue and white beauty on your beachy table. The little seahorse prints on the shell plates make the whole scene come to life. It looks like you spent a lot of time and effort into planning and creating this lovely table. I bought a black wire birdcage shaped like a lighthouse yesterday that I am feeling inspired to paint white and blue today and use it in a tablescape. I didn't know what I was going to do with it until I saw this post. Thank you so much for the inspiration... Candy

Terrific beachy table! I like the white lantern as the centerpiece and those cards are terrific - great idea to use them to write notes to guests or as placecards.

those neat shell plates, they look so striking on the blue plates and
thought the idea of the note cards
at each place was really neat.
My daughter just moved to Asheville N.C. the end of Sept. last year,and we thought Tybee island would be a nice place to meet in the middle.
You don't by any chance know of any rental condos or houses right on the beach do you?? Any info
would be appreciated. It looks and sounds like a lovely place.
