Take a look:
It must be the romance that goes along with this special day that I love.
Candle light always adds to the romance.
I have a candle burning inside the red mercury glass container. Can you see the flicker of the candle?
The red mercury glass hurricane and the red goblets with frosted stems are from Home Goods. I really need another one of these goblets, so if anyone in blog land finds them, please let me know and I will pay for the purchase and the shipping.
Saint Valentine had been beheaded for helping young lovers marry against the wishes of the mad emperor Claudius. Before execution, Valentine himself had fallen in love with his jailer's daughter. He signed his final note to her, "From Your Valentine", a phrase that has lasted through the centuries.
I hope you have something romantic planned for this special day with your sweetie or friends.
Thanks for stopping by to see my Burning Hearts Tablescape and have time to leave a message. - Judy

Your table is so lovely and I really like the styling of your tablescape. I also adore the red plates with swirls. Wish I had some of those. Thanks for sharing your beautiful table with us.
ReplyDeleteOh Judy, gorgeous tablescape.. it's so elegant with wonderful colors and so romantic too! All the lovely reds, the candle lights, the dishes, everything is perfect! Hugs,
ReplyDeleteFABBY
Beautiful, and so romantic!
ReplyDeleteI will keep my eyes open for those glasses at HG!
Thanks so much for linking to Let's Dish, Judy! Happy Valentine's Day.
A really delightful Valentine's table scape with pretty hearts, a red tablecloth and glass accessories.
ReplyDeleteOh, these candlelight shots are just stunning! Your table certainly IS romantic, and I also love the frosted stem glasses -- unusual! I wish we had that store here!
ReplyDeleteJudy, you have a gorgeous tablescape. Love Home Goods...and must go soon.
ReplyDeleteThanks,
Helen
Gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous table! I love the red mercury glass hurricane. Those frosted stemmed goblets are so pretty...I will look next time I am in HG...maybe this weekend.
ReplyDeleteYou've beautifully captured the magic of your lighting for this table. I love the hurricane and the red goblets. We don't have a Home Goods (rats!), or I would jet out to see if I could find one for you. I won't be alone for Valentine's Day. Sweet Mister has to have hand surgery that morning, so I'm pretty sure we'll be attached at the hip. Romantic? We'll see how well he does as a patient. I'm not holding my breath. Thanks for inviting us for a peak. Cherry Kay
ReplyDeleteBeautiful tablescape! You are definitely ready for romance! :) I stop by Home Goods all the time so I'll take a look for you!
ReplyDeleteJudy, I wish I had a Home Goods close by, but I do not. Loved your table - those red goblets are gorgeous, as is that red hurricane. I have been looking at some of those lotus candle holders and, after seeing yours, I may just have to return to the store to buy some.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing!
Judy, have you hit up all of the Home Goods stores around this area? The one in B.S.? The one on Ward Pkwy? The one at Zona Rosa? I'll be out near the one in B.S. next week. I'll pop in there and see what I can see. I'm putting it on my calendar right now so I don't forget. Meanwhile, BEAUTIFUL table!!! I can see that you TRULY loved doing this! Your enthusiasm really shines through! I love all the romantic candlelight! Thank goodness no one's going to be beheaded for your love of Valentine decorating! :-) :-) :-)
ReplyDeleteLovely red and white tablescape! I love your title Burning Love for it is so appropriate for Valentine's Day. Your new Glittery candle holder is perfect for this tablescape as the centerpiece. The ruffled placemats set the right tone for your layers of plates. Very Pretty!

Judy, sadly no Home Goods around here. I love those stems.. wow. they are gorgeous. As is the hurricane. The whole table just really shines and makes me wish I was there! xo marlis

Hi Judy, seeing all your Valentine decor makes me feel like such a shirker. Would you believe I have not a single thing that is representative of Valentine's. How crazy is that, especially considering how much I like red.
ReplyDeleteSo pretty and all the candlelight just makes everything so elegant. Love it. Thanks for joining the party. Hugs, Marty
