Avalanche Gorge - Glacier National Park

E for for looking at the edges of the rocks of Avalanche Gorge.

The gorge is a must see for visitors to the West Glacier area of Glacier National Park in Montana. You can see the luscious green canopy of moss and brilliant red rock.

Although the gorge is small it is breathtaking. The falls height is 15 feet.

The bridge over Avalanche Gorge is a highlight of the Cedars Nature Trail. I'll post about this nature trail later. That's my son-in-law and one grandson in the picture. This trip was in the summer so the weather was warm.

Thanks for stopping by - Judy.

  1. Your photographs are very impressive
    I love them all
    great scenery
and I love the fact that it is warm enough for your SIL to wear shorts and a tshirt, too cold in Ireland for that now but maybe in a few months.

    The baby is so cute!

    Have a happy Sunday
