Our daughter and I just returned from a "girl's trip" to Charleston, SC.
Come tour the gardens with us!
The azaleas were in full bloom and were gorgeous!
Some gardens were small, and others were large, but all were beautiful.
We saw this plant in many of the gardens, its common name is "Tractor Seat" plant. Can you see the resemblance to a tractor seat?
Maidenhair Fern
Just walking along the streets, the houses and side gardens were striking.
The Pineapple Fountain is the focal point of the Charleston Waterfront Park.

ReplyDeleteBeautiful! We went to Charleston one year in July and while we loved it... boy was it hot! We spent our days in the air conditioning or in the pool and only ventured out in the evenings.
ReplyDeleteWonderful scenes that you show from the garden. Impressive flora. I would love the maidenhair fern here in our garden too. Unfortunately, the soil in the bed is not suitable... Many of our plants have already died. I'm also pleased to see you in the picture!
