Happy Anniversary

Here it is the day after Christmas and today is our 49th wedding anniversary. So today, I am thankful for my husband and our dedication to each other.

Next I am thankful for our daughter, who is a wonderful wife and fabulous mother.

Our two grandsons give us so much joy and we are so thankful for them.

I made both boys Christmas throws with the popular red truck theme.

Lastly, I'm thankful that my first attempt at a red velvet cake turned out pretty good. Although the cake had a bit of a lean to it, no one complained about the taste.

Always thankful - Judy.

  2. So many wonderful things to be thankful for. That red velvet cake makes me smile... my grandmother truly believed red velvet cake was my father's favorite and made sure we had one every single Christmas despite the fact that my father kept telling her he did not like it at all! The cake went each year and I can't think of red velvet at Christmas without remembering her stubborn insistence that he loved them. Happy Anniversary!!
