A Visit from the Carolina Wren

A sweet little Carolina Wren visited my deck this week. He is such a pretty color of brown on top and a warm buffy-orange below.

He has a long white eyebrow and a bill that is long, slender and turns down.

Did you know he cocks his tail up while foraging and holds it down while singing? I am thankful this little wren visited my place this week - Judy.

  5. What a sweet fellow! I have a Mourning Dove who has settled herself at my feeders. Funny to see here there and not on the ground, as usual. Thanks for linking up today and have a great weekend!
