At the Feeders and in the Trees - Week 13

Photographing young birds at my feeders and in the trees has been a treat.

A juvenile Northern Cardinal visited my deck recently. Take a look:

You can see some red in a few feathers and in the tail.

In addition to the juvenile cardinal, we watched a pair of robins feeding their young.

A young American Goldfinch also visited.

Thanks for stopping by - Judy.

  10. Good pictures of the birds... and so nice you were able to see the young ones! I was especially interested to see the young cardinal as we watched cardinals raise their family and I took lots of pictures and did a blog post on it.... but as soon as they left the nest, we didn't see them again. Seeing your young cardinal shows me what ours would look like also. :)
