Do we sometimes forget how special life is? How special our friends and family are. We know everyday is a gift from God but sometimes we forget to notice how special life is.
This table could be for friends that I see everyday
A stack of Bordallo Pinheiro dinnerware.
We are usually pretty busy in our everyday lives and don't often notice the beauty around us. It might be an iris in your yard.
Or a clematis bloom on a trellis that reminds us how special life is.
Spending time with friends is always special too. Today I am sharing a tablescape for special friends.
This table could be for friends that I see everyday
or friends that I don't see often but are so very special.
It's their friendship that makes it special.
The table is cheery and bright with an April Cornell tablecloth. She always designs beautiful patterns and borders.
Matching napkins tied with a ribbon to resemble a bow tucked under the bowl.
A centerpiece of white geraniums in a white planter.
The table is ready and now I'm waiting for my friends to arrive. But most of all just remember:
Life is Special with Friends Like You.

What a beautiful table, Judy! Love the AC tablecloth...yes, she does have the best fabrics. Your stemware is gorgeous, too.
ReplyDeleteWe must think alike, I have been collecting green, pink and white BP cabbage dishes, too! I am trying to get service for 12 of each...almost there.
Have a great week!

Judy,
ReplyDeleteThis "Special Friends" Tablescape is such a welcoming extension of your affection! I'm sure your guests "friends" felt the effect as they sat around your lovely table.
You have an amazing Bordallo Pinheiro collection. Those dishes combined with April Cornell's tablecloth makes such a feminine appeal!!!
Simply divine!!!
Fondly,
Pat
So true! We need to remember how special life is and certainly, sitting at a lovely table like this with friends would be a wonderful reminder! Love the colour combo! Your geranium centerpiece is terrific and I like how you put it on the little white tray-plate.
