I just love the color purple especially in the Spring when lots of purple flowers are in bloom. I'm featuring purple for this post from my kitchen today.
I'm sharing purple blooms on the table as my centerpiece. Hope you enjoy it.
All things purple indicate the welcome of spring.
Sweet purple teapots are ready for serving tea. I have become a hot tea drinker since giving up sodas.
Eye-catching purple lobelia and purple verbena are used for this spring table. They will be planted in my gardens for Earth Day.
Purple lilacs are blooming now.
Do you like the aroma of the lilacs I like the smell of them while I am outside but cannot bring them indoors?
Temps for the past couple of nights have been down to freezing. I have covered my azaleas, iris, and young plants.
Purple blooms in the front and back yard show off gorgeous color. You can see the iris blooms are drooping a bit from those cool nights.
My friend has a purple bottle tree in her yard.
The Iris in my front beds are blooming too. Thank goodness I took these pics before the cold temps.
I wasn't always a big purple fan! When I moved to Kentucky and saw the stunning colors of purple, my heart softened and now I just love purple.
Thanks for stopping by for a whole lot of purple - Judy.

I'm leaving my white rabbits and purple flower arrangement on the hearth for a few more days.

PURPLE!!!!!!! I was never a major fan, either, but I've grown to really love it. There are so many hues and SO MANY possibilities for various decorating projects!!! I like how you used plants that will eventually be planted. Very Earth Day-esque of you! Lobelia has become one of my favorites for a "spiller" in pots. It's just so delicate and pretty! I can't wait for all the irises to bloom!!!!! I've had to transplant quite a few over time. When I first started planting them, I had NO idea how prolific they would become!!!!! Very pretty, Judy! Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteYour garden flowers are gorgeous! I've always loved all the shades of purple and I'm excited to find fellow purple-lovers! You can't go wrong when you combine purples and greens, they're a perfect pairing.

Judy - purple is one of my all-time favorite colors! My bridesmaids wore a deep purple. Your table setting, especially with the lobelia to soften the edges, is gorgeous!!! Thanks for linking to Mosaic Monday!
