Enjoying the Northern Cardinal

During the winter months, the Northern Cardinals visit my feeders everyday and many times a day.

They are such a joy to watch.

With just the slightest movement of his head, he seems to be looking right at you.

I am so thankful that we live in an area where they are prevalent.

Hope you are enjoying seeing the Northern Cardinal. Happy birding - Judy.

  1. Hello, beautiful captures of your Cardinal. I have seen a few of them in the yard this winter. In the spring I have a a pair that will nest in the yard. Thank you for linking up and sharing your post. Happy Saturday, enjoy your weekend.

  2. Around some feeders the groups come in during the winter making a spectacular display of red. They forget the territorial specifics until close to spring. Their call changes and it is back to just paired groups.

  3. The Cardinal is a very striking bird. It must be so lovely to see them most of the time as you do in Kentucky.

  6. Judy - I enjoyed these pictures so much. We don't have cardinals in Montana, and I so miss seeing them. The coloring, right down to the red beaks, is stunning!

  9. I love the Cardinals! They are so bright they bring cheer to the most dismal day.
Hummingbirds arrived here in north Mississippi last week. Get your feeders ready - they are on their way to you!

Hello everyone, I saw comments from people who already got their loan from Jackson Walton Loan Company, honestly i thought it was a scam , and then I decided to apply under their recommendations and just few days ago I confirmed in my own personal bank account a total amount of $29,000 which I requested for business. This is really a great news and i am so happy, I am advising everyone who needs real loan and sure to pay back to apply through their email (Text or Call ) +1-586-331-5557) (jacksonwaltonloancompany@gmail.com) They are capable of given you your loan thanks.
