The Biltmore Gardens

I'm sharing another post from a visit to The Biltmore Estates (America's largest home). Today, we are going to walk through the outdoor gardens at Biltmore, you follow the steps down through the black gates and then you see the garden area and it is just massive.

The stone walls surrounding the walled gardens make a beautiful backdrop for gorgeous flowers and shrubs everywhere you look.

You can walk along the outer path of the gardens . . .

Or you can walk through the center of the gardens.

There is some shade in the gazebo near the center of the gardens.

At the back and lower end of the garden area is The Conservatory, which was built to supply Biltmore House and gardens with flowers and bedding plants.

Join me next time as we tour The Conservatory and see palms, tropical plants, and orchids - Judy.

  4. I've read so much about Biltmore - it would be fun to visit someday. The gardens look amazing! I'm envious of gardens with stone walls - what a wonderful microclimate they create. Happy Mosaic Monday!

  5. It's such a beautiful place to spend the day. Many times now, we don't go inside the house...just walk around outside. The flowers are always gorgeous! Enjoy your week! Hugs!

Such a lovely part of our U.S.A. You've shared many great photos. My daughter and I were able to visit on a cross country trip in early May a few years ago. I'm visiting from Mosaic Monday.
