Today I am sharing the flowers and blooms in my front flower beds. Here's a view from the road looking at my azalea blooms with my house in the background.
Then the Irises started to bloom ...
and the dogwoods bloomed.
The wagelia buds opened to gorgeous flowers.
Although this area isn't huge, it is packed with color and texture from late March to late Spring.
In early spring, the trees in my yard and the daffodils were in bloom.

The rose buds opened.
My favorites, the azaleas were covered in buds and I couldn't wait for them to open.
The white azalea below is new in the bed. It will need time to grow.
Although not in my garden, the magnolia trees by the driveway are now in bloom and the aroma is just so sweet.

ReplyDeleteWow you have had a nice stretch of blooms! Love those azaleas, pink dogwood and magnolia. I just arranged some faux magnolia that look like yours. I had a magnolia (pink saucer style) but it became diseased and I lost it a few years ago. We can't grow the kind you have up here. It's fascinating to me to learn about each area of the country and how different they are from us with their bloom times. My dutch iris won't bloom until early June. You have a beautiful home and a nice big yard.

I laughed when you said that the area wasn't huge. If you read my garden post, I showed gardens in my neighborhood where the houses are close enough we can almost stretch our hands out the windows of each others houses and touch.
