Our roll as caretakers never seems to have an ending.. it's what we're good at so we thankful to take on the job. And taking a break is so very important and much needed. Loved that the inspiration for your table setting was your daughter's flowers. You did a fabulous job of embracing the color theme. And the chocolate cake? It's making my mouth water! As I've had a very busy day working on painting not only a room indoors but one outside in this miserable heat, I could so use a nibble, myself!! :-) So happy to hear that your dad is on the mend and has his family watching over him!
