I worked my favorite aqua bowl in with some Fall pieces.
I reasoned that the white pumpkin could sit close to the aqua and be ok.
I added lots of stems of berries, fall flowers, and leaves.
My aqua candle sticks are still standing around too.
At the other end of the mantel is another of my favorite aqua pieces from my summer mantel with more fall added.
I love the stick pieces added at this end of the mantel.
Maybe by October I'll be ready to put away my aqua pieces and replace them with a scare crow or something scary - Judy.

Oh, Judy, you know I love the aqua mixed with the fall hues. This is so pretty!
ReplyDeleteThat is such an interesting mix of colurs, Judy! I like it, so unique!
ReplyDeleteI think your aqua pieces are beautiful on their own, but look lovely accompanied by the colors of Fall!
ReplyDeleteI love it!! I think the aqua looks awesome with the Fall colors...I just sprayed some pots for my front porch aqua...to go with some Fall decor! have a great evening!!
ReplyDeleteYour mantel looks pretty! The aqua stands right out. I, too, added blue accents to my mantel this year.
ReplyDeleteLove that wreath, Judy! I can understand how you feel ~ it was 80 degrees when I was putting my Fall decor out. It's hard to be in Fall mode with warm temps.
ReplyDeleteOh this is stunning. I love everything. This is the first time I have had aqua in my LR and you have incorporated yours so beautifully. What a gorgeous vignette and so much inspiration. Thanks for joining TTT. Hugs, Marty
ReplyDeleteHi Judy! I love that you incorporated the aqua with the fall colors! Great job! It's still so early for fall- what a great transitional design!
ReplyDeleteI think that the aqua is a lovely compliment to the fall colors. Stunning!
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Susan and Bentley
Your aqua is a pretty complement to the fall colors. The white mantel looks lovely.

Very lovely, a truly elegant fall mantle. We went with the Halloween decor right off the "bat" this year because we're leaving on vacation and time just won't allow decorating twice. Plus I got some "wicked" inspiration for movie/book/theater themed Halloween decor which turned out SO fun!
ReplyDeleteJudy~ Your aqua is beautiful mixed with your fall botanicals on your mantle! What a wonderful way to introduce and transition to fall!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! I'm thinking take that gorgeous aqua all the way through Thanksgiving. Thanks for inviting us for a peak. Cherry Kay
ReplyDeleteI love the addition of a non-traditonal fall color. It really pops and doesn't detract at all. Beautiful.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful job! The aqua looks lovely. Megan
ReplyDeleteHi Judy,
ReplyDeletethink your mantle looks lovely, I really like your turquoise pieces in there, so pretty. I always laugh to myself when I see those colors, and I see them in my house too! lol
I think of the old Howard Johnsons
motels and restaurants from when I was a kid.......do you remember them too! There colors were that blue and orange. The outside of my home has the peacock blue cedar about terra cotta, black cream and white brick, so when I put my Fall decor up...yep, I think of Howard Johnsons! lol
Thanks for coming by hon and for your sweet comments,
Blessings, Nellie
Judy,
ReplyDeleteKeep that Aqua out this Autumn...Traditional Home, October 2012 features Tiffany Blue + Orange in their feature New + Next pages 25~34!!! You are so in decor fashion with the trends...and I'm liking it!!!

VERY smart idea to put the white pumpkin near the aqua! It works perfectly!!!!! It's kind of like that unexpected pop of red that turns up in an arrangement or on a tablescape or in a room that makes all the difference. It really stands out while still blending in. Very cool! The wreath is GORGEOUS!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteIt looks so pretty, the aqua is pretty with the pumpkins.
