I have been helping my daughter and her family for the past few days while she recovers from an appendectomy. She is doing good, but moving a little slow and can't lift anything heavier than 10 pounds. Well, you know a four year old and a nineteen month old weigh more than 10 pounds so Grandma has been needed.
We are getting ready for breakfast and I have a Get Well Breakfast planned. Take a look:
I really haven't had time for tablescaping this week but when this floral arrangement came, I thought it would make a beautiful centerpiece for a tablescape.
I had a little help, as I set the table for breakfast, from my 20 month old grandson, who is a climber. His little smile just makes my heart sing.
I choose the tablecloth because of the orange Gerber Daisies in the arrangement. It seemed to really make the daisies pop. The napkins are navy blue which I like against the tablecloth. The napkins and great little napkin rings came from Pier 1.
On our breakfast menu is:
Breakfast Fruit
Pizza
Banana Nut Muffins
Watermelon
Blueberries
Red Grapes
Hot Oatmeal
The dishes are yellow Fiestaware and the flatware is Lenox Eternal.
