My family just returned from Alaska where we have a rare opportunity to see Mt. McKinley on a clear day. Oh my, it was just fabulous; you don't realize the vastness of the mountain until you see it in person.
Most days the mountain is covered with clouds and the viewing isn't always very good and that's the way it was on the day we went on the shuttle to try to get a close look at the mountain. Then on our return trip on the train from Denali National Park, it was a clear day and very little cloud cover. It was awesome, turn after turn on the train we had fabulous views of Mt. McKinley and it were, indeed, in awe of Mt. McKinley.

Thanks for stopping by - Judy.
Alaska is one of the best places ever for some of natures remarkable sights. I loved seeing this many years ago. However, it was not this clear when I was there. Great photos.
